Duranno Father School

9-01.png

Duranno Father School Headquarters Co., started as a pure movement for restoring families and is now marching towards the world. Duranno Father School cherishes the vision of “a movement of fathers going to the ends of the earth for a beautiful world and happy family” and endeavors to bring a positive impact on families and society by comforting and encouraging Korean fathers.

Launched in October 1995 by Duranno Publishing, Duranno Father School recognizes that many of social issues/conflicts often come from unhealthy family relationships and that fathers are at the core of the situation. It thus suggests the desirable father character by helping fathers gather together and discuss practical solutions to adopt in making their families happier. At the beginning, its mission was mainly aimed at Christians but, since the financial crisis of 1999 (called IMF incidence), it has drawn attention of many in the Korean society. In 2004, the Father School was open for the first time with the theme “Who is father?” Currently, Duranno opens the Father School at church/military camps/correctional institutions/youth camps/companies/public offices and other places.

“When fathers come alive, families come alive also.”

- A movement of father going on for 25 years

- Open in 298 cities of 74 countries

- 407,125 fathers have completed the course
